Natalie Tsaldarakis, member of the American National Music Honour Society Pi Kappa Lambda since 1994, and Panayotis Archontides, Silver Medallist of the Worshipful Company of Musicians 2007, are two exciting Greek pianists who perform both solo and as a two-piano team. Natalie's debut took place at age 13 at the Patras Municipal Concert Hall, an exact copy of La Scala, in front of an audience of about 2,000 people. Panayotis' debut took place a few years later in 1989 at the Sydney Opera House performing Shostakovich 2nd piano concerto with the NSW Conservatory orchestra. The pianists met at the studio of their teacher-mentor D. Toufexis in 1990s and formed the Ivory Duo two-piano team shortly after their marriage in 1994. Their appearances have taken them to the US, Finland, Australia, Italy, Greece, and the UK. Their 2007 performances alone included important engagements such as St-Martin-in-the-Fields, where they will be appearing again in 2009, the Blackheath Halls, Charlton House, and the New Masters Series. In 2008 the duo already performed high-profile engagements at St John's, Smith Square and the Reform Club. To learn more about their bios and activities please use the navigation buttons at the top.
